Advantage worked very well for us. We applied it to our fleabag beagle and the fleas were mostly gone in the first day. In a couple days we didn't notice him scratching at all. No adverse effects either, did not seem to bother him one bit and hes around 21 pounds.

since it takes Advantage AND frontline to kill the fleas where we live, we need both. the upside to Advantage is you can reapply every week if you need to, while you MUST wait 3 weeks minimum to reapply frontline. (mule team borax sprinkled around the house takes care of the eggs~dries them up) been one of those years..we're a multi animal home.
