Feliway, also known as Comfort Zone New 75 mL bottle for same price! Feliway spray can help stop cat spraying. Both male and female cats, because of hormonal and behavior problems, can start spraying urine on objects or areas. Feliway contains pheromone-like substances which discourages this behavior when it is applied to the area the pet has sprayed. One depression of the Feliway pheromone spray nozzle should be applied approximately 4" from the site, 8" from the floor. Only one spray per application site is necessary. Urine marks and prominent objects should be treated one to two times daily for 30 days. Maintenance application every two to three days may be necessary in some situations. I have six cats, three of whom began spraying over a year or so ago. This was due to bringing a new cat into the house - maybe. They have sprayed in various places in every room of the house, and have their favorite zones. I will have to replace a piece of furniture and a kitchen cabinet door as result of this. I started using Feliway 2 months ago - I sprayed it every day for one month and am now spraying every other day. I spray on the favorite spots and also spots that may be inviting. It has worked out very well - they still spray on the cabinet door on occasion (which I am replacing) and spot near my dresser - I keep newspaper on these well-used spots and that may attract them - I will remove the mewspaper after I have the carpet cleaned and at that point I hope there will be no more spray. The real test will be in the winter when the cats hang out in the house more. In any event, I am so pleased with this product - it has made a tremendous difference to my life. I no longer have to wash the walls, polish furniture to repel spray, pour deodorizer on the carpet. I recommend this to everyone - even it helps a little, that's a lot. How much you use will have to be determined by your situation. I am hoping to eventually only have to spray 1-2 times a month.

I purchased Feliway in preparation for moving in with a roommate who already has 5 cats (one adult and 4 kittens), in hopes it could keep my two adult cats calm and facilitate positive interaction. I sprayed Feliway one a day over the first few weeks while we slowly introduced our cats and it really seemed to help. I was also initially worried about the cats wanting to mark their territory but haven't had any issues at all. I forgot to use this product for the last few days and noticed increased agression in a few of our cats, so I will begin using it again since it seems to really be effective in keeping all our cats calm and happy.

We have an older, female cat who took to alleviating herself in our family room (shag carpet) and our bedroom (heavy pile carpet). After a week of using the spray, she hasn't soiled in her usual spots. We can't be 100% sure there isn't a new spot, but we no longer smell the heavy urine smell or something fresh anymore. We combined this with the Anti Icky Poo and so far we believe it is working.

Well I do have cats that mark everyday...I hate it so much. I was excited about this product. It does work much to my surprise. I never got my cat to stop but he was getting so much better. I ran out of the spray. I have 4 cats and its just to costly for me to use. If I get the chance I will buy this again, it does work!

It is working great on Thor, need to renew the application to be effective, maybe the diffuser is a good idea.
