This tool is amazing!! I bought 2--one without the FURejector and it's ok, but this one--it's great. I cannot believe how much undercoat this comb can get out. I have 10 dogs---yep, 10; once I start on one and move to the next one, it's like they get in line to be groomed!! I have 2 that used to hate to be brushed, but each one sits and lets me run this comb all over their body. I just press the button to eject the fur and go back to brushing. The dog that I had done previously is still waiting for more brushing!! They all love it. I am recommending this to all my friends who have dogs and cats!!

This thing is AWESOME!!!! I gave my dog a bath using the deshedding shampoo first, which smells absolutely great, and then waited for her to get dry all the way (only so much a towel can do) and I then I brushed her with the deshedding tool and I got a overflowing grocery bag full of fur off of her...she's not a little dog, about 64 lbs but she doesn't have very long hair either. It ws like she should have been bald by the time I was done! Now it does take some time and patience...I kept brushing and brushing her until I wasn't getting anymore hair off of her anywhere. I think altogether I spent about an hour and a half or so brushing her, but she loved it! She would turn around so I could brush the other side of her. This deshedding tool IS just about the coolest thing ever!!! (I had a shed ender brush which I thought was pretty much the same thing, but NO WAY, not even close!)

The FURminator works much better than any other brand pet comb we tried (including Hartz and the ionizing types) for removing loose cat hair. We have used this for over a year now and can see a real difference in the amount of hair in the house (and in the vacuum cleaner) when we go for any length of time without using it.
Pros:
+ Solid build with a good grip and metal teeth
+ Gets a lot of hair with each pass
+ Easy to clean
+ The cats like it to be used on them
Cons:
- Somewhat pricey, but it should last a very long time and it keeps the hairballs down
The FURminator is a great product that really performs as advertised!

I purchased a FURminator deShedding Tool after reading many reviews. The cat actually loved the attention and being stroked by the tool. An unbelievable amount of hair was easily removed. Also, I found the FURejector to work well in that it only required one hand, allowing my other hand free to hold the cat.
Although, we didn't see as much benefit with our (short-haired) dog, I would recommend this product to anyone with a dog or cat.
