My yellow lab puppy suffers a skin allergy that results in hair loss around her eyes. This product was first recommended by my vet for the cost of $25 a bottle, and it worked great! It is difficult getting her to sit still for the 10 minutes required for it to soak in, however we did see significant improvement not only with her hair loss, but her entire coat as well. The only problem was the vet's cost per bottle...until I noticed that it was available at Amazon for a significant price reduction. It truly is a great product, now at a more reasonable price.

My dog has severe allergies,and a slight case of dermititis,due to the allergies.My vet recommended this shampoo for him,and its the best thing that ever happend to my dog!No more itching,or biting,and it really cleans his coat!It takes all the grease out,and soothes his skin.It may cost a little more than a regular dog shampoo,but it is WELL worth it!!

The past few summers my husky would smell, like she hadn't completely dried after swimming- a mildrew smell. Bathing her didn't seem to work, I would treat her ears, etc... This summer, along with the smell came a red belly rash, alot of itching, with no fleas.... and then a greasy film on her coat. I did some research and found out the film on her coat was known as "greasy scales" caused by malezzia (doggy yeast fungus) I ordered this shampoo, bathed her less than 4 times, instant relief, no more pink rash, no more itching, no more offensive odor, her coat is looking great! My friend's Lab who swims a lot suffered a mysterious pink skin condition for the past year, and was itchy. After several trips to the vet,they were told to improve his food, but were not directed to bathe him with this shampoo, sadly, he passed away a few weeks ago, so we never got to try the shampoo on him, I really believe it would have provided him relief... If this review helps just one dog, I will be very happy!!

This shampoo works great! It stops my pug from itching her booty on the carpet. She must have some skin problem but it goes away with this shampoo. The only thing I don't like is having to wait 10 mins while it's on her, doesn't seem like a long time, but when doing it, it's so boring. I'll get over it though, it's well worth the wait!

I read a lot of articles about what could be causing my shih tzu to itch. I did the process of elimination and can to find that it was the dog food. I was feeding him Purina Puppy Chow. I switched his dog food to Royal Canine. I still had to fix the itching, flaking, and hair lost. I tried the Malaseb Shampoo and three week later you could really tell the difference.
