I used this collar for about a week before my dog realized that she couldn't run through it. About another week later, after she realized the tone precedes a shock, she no longer needed this collar. It worked so well, she listens perfectly to every command when we are outside. I'm no longer using the collar -- because she doesn't need it. However, I will continue to use when camping or at the park. I paid $50 for the collar -- $100 cheaper than Petco was selling it for. At $150, there may be better collars with longer distances, rechargeable batteries, etc...but for the price, it couldn't be beat.

This was our last resort before having to get rid of our dog. She was absolutely out of control, and was basically unwalkable. Since using this collar, she is behaving much better, and we are even able to tajke her on walks again! We have never had to use it above a "5", and now just the beep is enough to get her in line. Use the shocks sparingly, and this will be a great tool in training.

My dog has responded to this product very well. Most of the time I don't even use the shock button. The tone works just as effectively. The only problem is that sometimes it takes a few seconds for the colloar to respond to the receiver. I also wish there was a better way to tell if the collar is on. I have to hit the tone button to see if it is on. I would also like for the red light to come on when the shock is transmitted, not just when the tone is. Hence I don't know when the shock is being delivered due to not being strong enough or if the batteries or low etc...overall though for the price I am pleased with the product.

Great product and the only one I would use for now on. It direct and gets rapid response from the pet. Does it come in wife size? or kid size???
