I have a 10 year old lab/shepherd mix who seems to be getting up more slowly all the time. I bought these at the recommendation of my sister-in-law who gives them to her two labs who have hip dysplasia. I've heard that glucosamine doesn't really do anything, but it make me feel better to give them to her just in case they really do work. I can't say I see her leaping out of her bed, but she does leap into the air to gulp it when I toss it to her - she loves them. It also seems that she isn't getting up as gingerly as before.

I have two rather large dogs, Nikki who is a purebred seven year old female yellow lab and Buddy a 15 year old male yellow lab mix. Both have had joint problems for several years. About a year and a half ago I went to my vet to ask him his advice about putting Buddy down he seemed to be in so much pain and was not enjoying life. He recommended Synovi G3 Soft Chews but told me not to expect overnight results. He told me to give them 2 each daily for about three months then drop it down to 1 daily. After three months I noticed a big improvement and after another two months they were both running and playing and Nikki can once again jump up into the back of my truck. At first I had a ford ranger and the tail gate was not that high. Now she can jump into a ford 150. When I say it's been a miracle I really mean it's been a miracle.

Two years ago my 12 year old lab had a clicking sound starting in her hip (arthtitis). My vet suggested Synovi G3 Chews. After 6 weeks on the chews Rainey's hip quit clicking and her sister seems to get around easier as well. They are both now 14 years old and get their chews each morning.
