too small for our 17 lb pug. we had to return it, she wouldn't fit lengthwise even though measurements given online matched what we measured her length to be at home. otherwise the carrier seemed fine but we ended up going with a sherpa that was slightly longer & wider and fits her better.

i love this carrier because it's soft and already has a little padded cushion, but for some reason, mine doesn't stay pretty and formed like the picture -- the middle sinks in, so if my puppy was claustrophobic, there wouldve been no way to get her in. i actually don't remember it ever being that nice and formed. i do use it for all car rides and trips to other peoples' houses, and it does serve its purpose. i can't testify for it being super durable, seeing as how i normally have my puppy walk with me and very rarely carry her in it (since it's used in the car and as a temp habitat in other houses). so far, it's in great condition still. i've washed the bed several times and it still looks new. a word of caution: my puppy is maybe 6lbs and is pretty comfortable in it, so i really don't think a lab puppy could fit in this, even though it's labeled as large. probably just a small puppy or dog could fit comfortably. worked out for me, though, so i can't complain.

I bought this carrier for my 10 week old kitten and she loves it. Until she's reached her adult cat size, this carrier is large enough for her, a few toys, and a small blanket to cuddle with. The carrier has mesh sides and easy open sides. The sides have two zippers (like luggage) which clip together after you close for extra protection. There is also a zipper open on one of the top sides for easy access to pet your pet. The carrier comes with a nice padding for the kitten/cat to lay in (which is also available to be removed and thrown into the wash). I only bought this carrier for taking her places- not to fly. I'd recommend this carrier to anyone who has a small-medium size cat/or small dog.

I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this bag and was able to return it to Wal-Mart when my kittens ripped it after less than two weeks. Not sure if I got a lemon or if they are all that poorly made, but I'm going to try a different brand this time. On the plus side, the mesh sides are great -- the kitties could see out and satisfy their curiosity while we traveled. The "large" isn't terribly big, though. Certainly won't fit two cats, once my babies grow.

My cat's my best buddy (10lb tabby), and I was about to travel across the continent and over a huge mass of water for 14 hours. I wasn't going to put him through the trauma of being with the baggage if at all possible. So, there I was on the hunt for the best carrier for both he and I - for him, something comfortable and cozy, and for me, something that was easy to travel with, light, and gave me piece of mind that he was comfortable and cozy. This is the carrier that met my needs.
I went to the pet stores and "test drove" many bags, some were too uncomfortable to sling over your shoulder and had zippers and pockets that were difficult to manage - this carrier was none of the above. It had ample number of pockets to store toys and treats, and it had a very soft "bed" that's easily removable for cleaning. I double-checked dimensions on 3 different airframes as we were transferring planes from one airline to another... this carrier fit just fine when positioned on its side and tucked underneath the chair in front of me. Also, it's frame holds its shape well when pulled back out and fits easily in the space between you and the chair in front of you (might be a little tight for those with longer legs). Something I liked very much was the viewable space all around the carrier. There were enough "screened" sides on the carrier that made me feel my cat was getting more than enough air and had enough windows to look out and not feel claustrophobic.
