This product really does what it says it does. I have a labradoodle and a border collie mix and the border collie is usually a terror to bathe. This product seriously takes less than 5 minutes for each dog. It doesn't get them quite as clean as the groomer, but it's definitely worth the $. I've recommended it to all of my dog lover friends.

Bathing the dogs used to be stressful. I just tried this today on the basset/lab and it was over quick and so easy. He didn't even make a fuss. The true test will be my old timer. Kudos to whom ever developed this product. I do wish it was some type of metal instead of plastic for the price, but as long as it continues to work, I'm happy......

This product has spared me alot of back pain!! My dog is great but the process of soaping him up and rinsing him out was begining to take its toll on my spine from twisting around him to make sure and get those problem areas.
Chewbacca is a 65+ pound husky malamute mix, and he loves to get dirty and refuses to be still during bathing. Manuvering this 7 month old pup (in the tub or outside) is quiet a job...LOL. This is a dog who usually spends about 90% of his time indoors with the family, only going out for an hour or two a day or when he's "gotta go." But if it rains and he gets muddy its a really wicked chore to clean him up without rapid bath.
I first heard about rapid bath not long after it came on the scene and was carrying a very hefty price tag. I loved that someone had finally come up with the right idea, but didnt have a dog at the time and wasnt willing to pay the price to use it once every few months on my cats. Recently I bought it because I was at the point of paying a local groomer $50 or more to bathe him for me every 2 weeks to a month. He's a digging dog who gets very muddy and in hawaii its required to re-apply flea meds twice monthly unless you want your home to be infested. At $40-$50 for rapid bath system and $7 to $15 a month to replenish the shampoo cartidges...the overall price is actually very reasonable compared to paying a groomer $100 to $150 to every month.
The rapid bath is very easy to use with 3 modes...2 for easy rinsing and one for soaping. the nozzle that releases the stream of water also rotates to help get the dogs underbelly without twisting your arms out of shape. My dog is not fond of water being sprayed on him but did relax quickly and sit down after he realized that the stream of water was not as rough as the previous hose I had been using. He allowed me to soap and rinse twice and within 30 minutes he was beautiful and clean again. The shampoo is gentle and deoderizes the dogs coat really well as well as thoroughly cleaning both the over and undercoats without having to scrub the dog by hand. for the white on his tummy and legs I lightly massaged the soap in the second time...and he only had light staining left around the elbows. If you have a dog with alot of white I suggest getting one packet of the regular (deep cleaning) shampoo and one of whitening shampoo. Other than the the only hitch to the product is that once you insert the shampoo cartridge the lid may pop back open because the closing mechanism isnt quite strong enough...but it wasnt a big deal at all.
I really enjoyed this product alot more than the conventional struggle that comes with bathing a large breed pup, and I would reccommend this product to anyone who has a medium, large or extra-large breed puppy and suffers from severe back pain after every time the wash the dog...LOL. Its worth the $42.00 + shampoo and shipping!!

After years of wrestling with my German Shepards to give them a bath and taking up to an hour to wash, rinse and dry both of them, I was ready to try anything.
