My shiba has gone through several red kongs but this black one has stood the test of time. It's a little large for him but he loves it so I don't complain. I shove several Newman's treats in there and he'll play with it for quite a while.
My only complaint is that it gets lost under furniture a lot.

Our 100 pound Black Lab "Beemer" just loves his "Black Duck" He chews it instead of furniture & keeps his teeth clean & strong. For a special treat we put peanut butter inside.

Seems to be as advertised, a durable rubber dog toy. Unfortunately, our dog doesn't really care for it. He doesn't work very hard to get biscuits out of it. He likes things he can tear apart better.

We are on our 2nd set of 2 Golden Retrievers and have used the large black kongs for years. I estimate we have gone through 8-10 Kongs over 20+ years. If a Kong wore out, it was usually from biting for the cookie inserts at the larger end hole.
But I just noticed that our 2 most recent Kongs have split at the seam between the largest ring and the middle ring. I estimate that I have had these Kongs for 1- and 2-years.
Since I have never seen this split and it seems like very premature wear compared to all of our other Kongs I emailed the company for a replacement. I got " Sorry- we only have a 30 day guarantee". Thanks Alot!
I would think a conpany would take a look at the circumstances and provide a replacement for an obvious seam failure, when the product looks new?
ANYONE ELSE SEEING SEAM SPLITS RECENTLY? BEWARE OF CHEAPER KONG PRODUCTS - PERHAPS THEY ARE CUTTING QUALITY TO SAVE MONEY IN THIS BAD ECONOMY OR MAYBE THIS IS A MARKETING MOVE FOR PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE TO MAKE US BUY MORE KONGS UNNECESSARILY?

All I can say is "wow"! We had been "babysitting" our son's pit bull, Bill, and I was going broke trying to find a chew toy that could stand up to him. Then the "KONG EXTREME, EXTRA LARGE BLACK" arrived. It was fun! It was neat to be able to place treats inside! It bounced like crazy! And, most of all, it withstood his powerful chewing!
