In our experience, the two gates fit perfectly and are easily adjustable. Just what we needed to keep a new puppy out of the carpeted area of the house. We're ordering a third for the stairs - she's learning to get around way too fast! For a basic, low-priced gate, it's tough to see how this one could be beat.

This gate works but you can tell it's a "cheap" gate. Its frame is made out of soft, light-weight wood. Other than that, it's great. Easy to use. To adjust the length, you just move a little metal "peg" to the desired length (there's numbers on the adjuster, so you know you're adjusting it to the right lenghth). To install, you just push the arm down. To remove, you just lift the arm up. How much easier can it get?!

I have a 30" door way to block. It works great. I can see how some people would have a problem with large doors or hallways.

If you are blocking off a door not used much than this is ok. If you travel through the doorway often save your self time and aggravation and spend the $50 to $60 for the gated style gate. It is so worth it and just as safe.

This gate is useless. Don't be fooled by the free shipping. This gate doesn't stay in place for a second by itself. It is complete waste of your money
