This pet gate was exactly what I was looking for. First of all, the delivery was very fast and secondly, it was easy to assemble. So far it has worked successfully at keeping my dog confined to certain areas where I can keep a better eye on her, especially since she's not completely house broken yet. Plus, the gate looks nicer than what I was using before. Overall, I have no complaints.

This freestanding unit is sturdy, well built, and and versatile. It is not for large animals that can make the jump, however, it is a nice barrier for not only small animals, but small children as well. A little pricey, but still a well made unit.

I am using this gate for my 20 pound spaniel and he is not tempted to jump over it (even though he could). The gate is very well made, with a very smooth finish on the wood and a stain that was evenly applied. It is super easy to put together and to determine the width I needed. I highly recommend this if your dog is/can be trained to use gates like this as a visual barrier, not necessarily as a physical deterrent. Please note that the price here on Amazon was $20 higher than at [...].

We have older dogs that we wanted to block from a portion of the house. This gate has worked out perfectly for this but would not recommend for dogs that like to jump. I watch my cats jump over this gate without the slightest hesitation. In all, this is exactly what we wanted and it stands nicely and has been quite sturdy to date. The high is low enough for the adults to crossover without moving, which is a plus since once locked into the width of the location it is not easily retracted. Perfect for our use but keep in mind that it is short in height.

This product works great for protecting your pet. I needed this to stop my older dog from following me down the stairs. The gate is also adjustable in length. It looks more like a piece of furniture than an unattractive gate which is wonderful since I keep it up all the time. Easy to put together. I would highly recommend this product.
