My miniature dachshund can usually destroy a toy like this one in a couple of hours but this thing really lasts. I was worried about the Velcro closure but it seems to be really strong, she still has not managed to get the squeaker out. AND it comes with an extra squeaker which is a big plus in my book. Definitely worth the price. This toy is even better in real life and has a mix of textures for dogs to chew on. For example underneath the duck's "wings" is a sheepskin type of fabric. Fun.

Our little dachshund is a serious chewer. She can destroy most toys within a couple days. She loves this Kong chew toy and has not been able to chew through it or rip it. I recently purchased a few of these nearly indestructible toys for our beagle and our american bulldog puppy. They play very rough with these little animals, including playing tug with them several times a day, and they are still in one piece!! I love that they don't have any stuffing in them, so there are no white fluffy pieces flying around my house after a day of play! Plus the extra squeakers that come with each animal are a huge help! My Westie (skin problem is common with this breed) has been using Zymox shampoo for 2 wks now 2x/week he's got hot spots. I've noticed a dramatic change after the very first time he used it, after 2 wks he doesn't scratch that much anymore and some of his hair are starting to re-grow and his skin is starting to heal, it's not too red and sticky and warm to touch anymore. I have also ordered the Zymox rinse and just waiting for its delivery and will start on that too in between baths and see if it will continue to totally heal his skin back to normal.

I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to dogs with skin problems. I am planning to use this shampoo as his regular shampoo from now on and it smells good too.

I recently purchased the Breeze Litter System and it works wonders for my kitten's urine however after my kitten was de-wormed; he is suffering from diarrhea and the pellets do absolutely nothing for the odor. I have had to purchase the Breeze pellets more often as the pellets are being scoped away along with the feces. The diarrhea has dripped into the Breeze pads as well. I was amazed by the video but its not pratical.

I needed a litter system that would help me with these problems:

*Litter tracked all over the place

o I used a huge track mat (3'x4') but litter still ended up everywhere. And I just wasn't good about vacuuming or Swiftering.

*Remembering to scoop

o Despite the fact that I had an open litter box in my bathroom (if it was covered, I would *never* remember to scoop), I could see past it (all you ADDers know what I'm talking about). And of course it had an odor, but with all the masking agents it wasn't so bad that I couldn't overlook (oversmell?) it for a few days.

*Disposing of waste

o Before I started using the LitterLockerPetmate 22501 LitterLocker Plus with Microban, White/Planet Blue (which I love!), I would always forget to bring grocery bags with me to the bathroom and the waste couldn't go directly into the trash can. So I just wouldn't scoop. After using the LitterLocker, my biggest complaint was with the clumping litter it took up so much room (I have a big kitty that pees a lot ) that I had to change the inner bag more often than I wanted to.

Why I like the Tidy Cats Breeze Cats Litter Box System:

*No more litter everywhere

o The pellets do fall out but it's easy enough to pick them up and throw them back in. (Okay, I admit sometimes I just kick them in the direction of the box)

*I remember to scoop

o Yes the poop smells more than traditional litter. As one person said, it's like a person using the toilet. But in a strange way, for me, that is a good thing. I scoop every day, not every week. Keep in mind, once the poop dries it doesn't smell as much. And some days the poop smells worse than others.

*Disposing of waste

o I love that I can change the pee pad once a week. I don't know what the others are talking about when they say they have to change more frequently. I have a very large kitty that seems to pee copious amounts of urine. Mid-week I turn the pad tray around and it goes into the trash on trash day. Also, the only thing going into the LitterLocker is just the poo, so I don't have to change that very often. Although after reading a few reviews, I realized I can just flush it down the toilet.

Improvements I wish they would make:

*Make a bigger box

o I have a 19lbs cat that looks so silly squeezing into such a small box. He does it, but I know he would like it more if he had room to move around.

*Sometimes difficult to find the pellets and pads at the store (even at Petsmart)

I've had the Breeze system for about two weeks. I followed the instructions about keeping the old litter box next to the Breeze for a few days, and not cleaning the old one. I have two cats, a 3-yr. old female and a 1-yr. old male. Both cats started using the Breeze almost immediately for pee, but only the male would poop in it. I finally couldn't take the smell of the old box, so just removed it completely, and now both cats are happily pooping in the Breeze. If you read enough reviews here, you'll find that some cats just won't adapt to it, but it seems they're in the minority.

At first glance, it seemed to me that the system and supplies would be more expensive than conventional litter boxes. But, buying the pads and pellets in bulk from Amazon, that's not the case. I figure the Breeze will cost me about $7 or $8 a month, less than I was spending on regular litter alone. Plus, no more litter box liners. Plus, no more litter dust and bits of litter tracked all over the place. Plus, no more 40 lb. bags of litter to lug up two flights of stairs to my condo. Plus, no more cat pee smell after the first or second day of changing the old litter.

The only drawback I've found is that once the poop clumps together and dries, it can be hard to get it flushed down my toilet. I may look into one of those Litter Champ containers.

All in all, an excellent product/system. Made my life easier, and the cats dig it.

This box is fantastic we've been using it for about 3 weeks now and it has made one of our four cats very happy..he uses it all the time and has stopped peeing on our furniture etc..it is pretty much odorless and the pee pad holds a LOT of liquid! My happy cat is a big peer so this box is perfect for him. I few of our other cats have used it, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause no one seems to want to poop in the box but the lack of cat pee on our furniture has made it worth it!

I have had Drinkwell, Petmate and Hagen Catit fountains. The thing I like about Hagen is the huge filter. It keeps hair and food out of the pump. What I don't like is that it takes a lot of water just to get it ready for use. I clean the water fountain every week and the water is always slimy and it takes a half gallon to fill it.

I bought the Hagen fountain because it was cheaper than the Drinkwell and Petmate, but overall I'm going back to my other two choices. I feel that Drinkwell and Petmate, even though they have a smaller tank capacity, the water is fresher. I believe that I'll be buying Petmate this next time because of the water reservoir. That gives my cats fresh, untainted water all week.

I have three cats and of them two absolutely go bonkers for this thing! I've owned two of these laser pointers for a few weeks now without trouble with either one. I happened to have it in my purse when I visited another friend who had just got a puppy and she was sooooo cute chasing it! Even if this thing breaks now I'd still say I got my money's worth. Even thought the pointer is on a keychain I just keep it in a drawer, I imagine it would break a lot quicker if you always had it on your keys.

PS - I've found that my pets react best when it's just the concentrated dot, not the other shapes.

This stuff is worth its weight in gold if you have a kitty and have cat allergies. My allergies to cats are so bad that I'll get a full blown symphony of symptoms--red welts, itching everywhere, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion--the whole thing. When we first got our cat, I put it on her once a week. (That's when I started getting my symptoms back.) We've had the cat two months now, and I haven't had to apply it to her in three weeks! It's CRAZY! It doesn't have a smell either. I just put it on a microfiber cloth and apply it all over my Maine Coon mix's fur. She enjoys it, too. This is a great barrier as long as you install it correctly and you're willing to make a small modification to it. When installing it, make sure to mount it with the horizontal bars facing the back, otherwise the dog will be able to push the bars out of the brackets securing them. Also, make sure that you fasten the screws as tightly as possible to keep the horizontal bars from getting pushed up and down out of position. The screws provided should work, as long as you tighten them as much as possible.

The one true design flaw in this barrier is the sliding end-pieces of the horizontal barriers. They are easily pushed aside by our 80 lb pup who pokes her head through the gap and happily drools on our son's car seat. This flaw can be easily rectified with a drill and four small screws. Extend the ends of the horizontal barriers so that they are as wide as you need them (pressing against the walls/windows of the car.) Drill a small hole in one of the tubes of the curved end-piece of the horizontal barrier right where it emerges from the tube. Screw a small screw into the hole to keep the end-piece from sliding. Repeat for the other three curved barrier end-pieces.

You will be left with an effective, solid, attractive, affordable pet barrier. I'm more than happy with the results and would recommend it for all but the most hyperactive dogs.

I bought this to contain my 80+ pit bull in the back of my Toyota Highlander while I had kids in the car with me. It completely does the job. Now, if you are looking for something that will contain an unruly dog who doesn't listen to you, this may not be the thing for you. My dog can break out of just about anything, so the barrier is really just a 'stern suggestion' if you will. It's the same as if I put up a baby gate to the basement if I don't want him to go down there...certainly he can hop over it without effort, but with it up he knows that he's not supposed to go down there and he doesn't (unless he hears a loud sound and needs to go investigate, then all bets are off, exigent circumstances you know).

Also, I do some rescue work and sometimes have to transport dogs that don't know each other, and this gate is perfect for that.

As to ease of installation, my husband installed it for me in about 10 minutes and I've tugged at it and it's pretty snug and sturdy. For my money, it is exactly what I was looking for - and I can still see out the back without a problem.

I bought these when I bought the sharpener which I love! Heck my 30 year old chef's knife is as sharp as my new one. All my knives are in great shape now.

But, I honestly don't know when I'll use the replacements. The sharpener is quite inexpensive. The technology is commonplace now. You'll be able to replace the whole sharpener for about what you'd pay for the replacement blades.

I like not having to fool with a steel. My husband likes not ever having to take his stone to my knives again.

I can hear it humming when I get it close to my ear and the red light comes on, so I know it works. My dogs hearing is very good also. Even when I point to my dog 5 feet away, it still has no effect. Don't waste your money. Throw empty coke cans filled with a few pennies. It works better...

I have been a professional dog trainer for 30 years. I have used the Pet-Agree product and it does what it's supposed to do: delivers a high-frequency sound that only dogs can hear (although if you put it up to your own ear you will hear a faint sound).

I think the reason people reviewing this product are saying it doesn't always work, or wears off after a time, is due to the fact that ultrasonic devices ALONE won't solve your problems! (1) You must first determine why the dog is doing what it's doing, and often that will be something in the environment/lifestyle that you need to change; (2) the purpose of the ultrasonic device is merely to INTERRUPT the behavior long enough for you to reward the brief stopping of the behavior and then insert a more appropriate behavior into the "void" you created by using the ultrasound (counterconditioning). To just point the device at your dog and press a button (as if it were some sort of "magic wand") might work sometimes, but it won't get to the root of the problem, and after a while most dogs will start igorning the sound and go on doing whatever they were doing. This is the "lazy way" to try to solve a dog's behavior issues and will not have long-lasting effects. Without positive reinforcement added to the process, it becomes a very negative, vicious cycle.

If you want to be successful using this kind of product, consult a good positive dog-training book, or call a professional to help you.

I bought this product in hopes to quiet my hyperactive-easily excited chihuahua/poodle pup. To be honest, I didn't make the purchase with a great expectation- I figured "Eh, 20 bucks... worth a shot." It's what I get for not having any faith I suppose- product did not do a single thing for my little girl. At first I thought there was a small improvement, but my guess was that Lola was only weary of me pointing the thing at her (only other thing I've aimed at her with that look in my eye, was a squirt bottle (which she doesn't seem to mind getting wet so much either, go figure)). After she realized the thing wasn't a threat to her dryness, my yanking it out of my pocket in an attempt to surprise her with it's appearance when she started barking, hasn't even phased her. I guess I'm not as sly as I thought, she must have known it was there along- I couldn't even distract her from the roommate who got up to go to the bathroom, but stood a little too fast for comfort.

*Sigh* I hope this works for the rest of you that are this-close to pulling your hair out. As for me, my next Amazon purchase may end up being a wig....

The high is low enough for the adults to crossover without moving, which is a plus since once locked into the width of the location it is not easily retracted. After reading reviews I was worried that this wouldn't be sturdy enough. It is quite sturdy and handles my lil 8 month crawler just perfectly. I absolutely love how tall it is and how easily the gate works. I have used it opened up as a barrier to block off parts of my room and as a closed play yard. My 8 month has pulled up on it without any problem with sturdiness in both set ups. I am buying the extension kit to give her more room to play.

I have opened the play yard up and attached the ends securely to the sides of my couch, essentially making the couch part of the play yard. By doing this the play area appears to be even larger and I am able to relax on the couch while my baby plays. It doesn't feel like a baby jail when you are inside the gate with the baby.

We've had our PetSafe wireless fence for about 2 1/2 years and it works great! Our miniture schnauzer learned very fast not to cross the line. And now he can be in the yard without the collar on and not leave his boundary.

Since it is completely wireless, there's no need to bury a cable! It is a terrific alternative for those of us that live in cold country and have to plow snow on a regular basis.

My only complaint is the batteries don't seem to last that long. They have to be replaced every 2-3 months or so. Other than that, wonderful product!

I purchased a CatStop six months ago to stop local cats from defecating in our yard which had become a daily occurrence. I had tried several other products like repellent powders from the hardware store and didn't have any success. I wasn't expecting the CatStop to work, but it really seems to keep the cats away. After six months of success, I purchased three more. Only reason I didn't rate this five stars is that it takes a few of these devices to really keep the cats out of the yard, and the battery needs to be replaced about every 4-8 weeks depending on how much activity (people using walkways, etc.) there is around the device. It's an expensive solution, but it's nice to not have to clean up after other people's pets anymore. I think the birds and lizards in our yard appreciate it too. :)

We decided to invest in 2 of these before spreading fresh mulch in our front beds as we have multiple cats that use our beds as their litter box. There seems to be less poop than there would have been without the product (especially with all the fresh mulch), but it doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent - some cats seem more curious than bothered by the sound.

Set-up is very easy and delivery was very quick. The ultrasonic sound doesn't seem to bother our dog either. We initially had problems activating the sensors within the 20ft range, but as the weather has cooled this has improved significantly.

I bought this product as a last resort to keep neighborhood cats out of our front yard. Prior to this product, we had at least 2 new "poop piles" in our lawn each day. Since my daughters cat is just too finicky about getting his own waste on his paws (he rarely bothers digging or covering up his waste), and the resulting ugly smells of ammonia and methane gas hovering in the air, I had to try this contraption out. The timer and motion detector is really a nice feature, and with the extra added bonus of having an ionizer turn on for 10 Min's after the animal leaves is just too awesome. There are absolutely no smells lingering after the job is done.

We didn't have to "acclimate" our cat to the new litter box (as per instructions) at all. We just removed the old box and transfered the old litter ("Litter Purrfect" Brand, less the fecal matter and urine clumps) so the cat would be accustomed to the same smell he was used to. The new "LitterMaid" box was also put into a different location of the room because of the size. No matter, It just took a couple of hours before he decided it was safe to use. He just does his thing, and walks off, so no scattered litter mess. And nothing so far has stuck to the metal rake that sweeps across the litter bed and remains completely clean as if never used. So far, the cat seems very appreciative and content with the change (like it was made just for him). We also keep the litter filled up to the level recommended. What a God Send!

Seeing for the first time both the feces and clumped urine both sitting together in the waste receptacle was a huge relief, especially not knowing if it would work correctly from reading all the poor reviews. Imagine no cat smells (not even a hint) and never having to go through the messy chores of raking through dirty litter every single day, then having to bag it. Not to mention having to continuously tell my daughters to "Clean Out That Cat Box!"

The only drawback would be that the motor seems a bit weak as the rake combs (drags) through the litter bed, but why complain if it gets the job done. The contraption is built well, big enough for our 1 1/2 yr old 8 lb cat (Russian Blue/Himalayan) and looks nice.

Finally! What a "Breath Of Fresh Air" to have a self cleaning litter box and no more ugly smells. I'm sure my two daughters appreciate it even more!

Good Points: The item is as pictured. It does fold and unfold easily and is very light.

Bad Points: We have a smaller SUV (Jeep Liberty) and have two very large dogs. Jumping in and out of the back of the vehicle is not good for their hip joints and I always wanted a ramp. Our very large puppy just had hip surgery so a ramp was a necessity because he is about 90 lbs already and I can't lift him up in the vehicle to get him to and from his vet appointments. We purchased this ramp and found that even with a smaller SUV the ramp is SO steep that neither dog wants to use it and for the puppy who just had surgery it's not even an option. My husband has to come home from work and lift him into the vehicle anyway. Our other dog won't attempt it on her own (but has used less steep ramps in other areas). The "non-slip" surface would be great except the ramp is so steep it doesn't seem to really do the trick. After two tries using it our dog was slipping so bad you can see her claw marks up and down the whole thing. I am hoping that once our puppy is better and with a lot more coaching they use this ramp because it wasn't cheap. I am not holding out high hopes though.

I bought this product during a bad bout with my dog and have only tried to use it once and she balked at trying. I am planning on making an effort to train her to use it when getting into the SUV as she is quite heavy and I am a 58 year old woman who is eventually going to have trouble lifting Lili's 74 pounds.

It seems very well made and I do keep it handy in the vehicle. I feel that it is well worth the cost, only do be careful not to get pinched when opening it. OUCH!

My 7 year old vizsla "Scout" had a "blown out" ACL. He would always limp after lying down and seemed to be in some pain. The vet thought we might have to do some surgery. But before we went there we agreed to try some Rymadyl and Glycoflex-III. The Rymadyl worked almost instantly. After a couple of days he was like a young pup. But being somewhat concerned with any long term side affects from the Rymadyl, we gradually reduced his dosage over the next several months and then weaned him completely off of it. We continued to give him the Glyco-flex III each day and he is still on it. Scout is doing great. He is as active as he was when he was a young pup. I would highly recomend this product to anyone and especially to dogs that do a lot of running. Great for keeping their joints strong and flexible.

Scout gives Glyco-Flex III 5 woofs.

Regarding the seller, I was somewhat concerned about buying from "My Pet Health Supplies" as I had never heard of them. When the Glyco-flex arrived it was the wrong "Count bottle size". When we contacted the seller they apologized and immediately credited our card. Very polite and responsive.

I LOVE these feeders and have 7 of them. They are easy to clean if you know the secret. I disassemble the parts and put them in a big Pyrex bowl filled with water and a little bleach. I let them soak there a while and fill the bottle part with water and a little bleach as well. During the soaking, I stir up the bowl a few times and then empty and rinse, repeat several times and let air dry. For the glass bottles I shake the bleach solution up real hard and then rinse a few times and let them air dry. There's no scrubbing needed. The black moldy stuff that sometimes forms pretty quickly here in hot and humid southern Louisiana just dissolves away in the bleach water cleaning solution. I have more feeders than I can hang so that I can keep clean spares at the ready to swap out while I clean the others. This has been my most used feeder for over 20 years. Unlike many of the Perky Pet feeders, the base opens up, and it can be visually, mechanically cleaned. I use a hummingbird feeder sponge mop or brush on the bottle, and a regular dishwashing sponge mop for glasses, a toothbrush, a finger, and either a Q-tip or hummingbird portal brush for cleaning the parts of the base. This keeps the solution clear for extended periods. Hummingbirds definitely like the perches, and I've never seen or heard of a hummer being injured on it. It's easy to tell when they're empty, and I mix the solution up fresh, inside the bottle, with cold tap water. I haven't had significant problems with bees or wasps. The size is good for small numbers of birds, but I have to add larger feeders during peak migration in late August and early September. I have 7 of these, and use all of them during the peak fall migration, scattered around the house to try to decrease jousting. Replacement parts are available.

The best thing about this feeder is that it won't collect rainwater like most other feeders, diluting the nectar and discouraging the hummers.

Contrary to an earlier negative review, this feeder is easy to disassemble and clean. A touch of bleach will removed any mold and wash away quickly under the faucet. I've use one feeder for three or four years. Careful treatment is all that's needed. We also have little trouble with bees.

The birds seems to love it. We have a swarm of them that amaze our guests.

-a bit large

-the motor is louder than their old Petmate

-the drinking "moat" is a bit narrow for larger cats

-the sound of trickling water was a bit loud

It's nice that you can adjust the water pressure and the number of spouts with attachments. However, I couldn't adjust it so the sound of trickling water was tolerable. We've had it for about a month now. I have 3 cats and they all like to play with water, but my larger male cat does not like the fountain when it's on - he has removed the top pieces twice now, so I leave them off. I don't have it running all the time as they seem not to like to drink from it when it's on. I'm still undecided whether I'm going to keep it. I was concerned they'd not drink as much water as before, so I also have a dish of water nearby. I gave it 3 stars because I'm not sure it was worth the price.

My two 6-month-old kittens drink from nothing other than the Drinkwell 360 Fountain since coming home from the shelter at 3 months. On the first day, they weren't quite sure what to make of the vertically flowing water (from the 3 spout ring): first they dipped their paws in the bowl but quickly figured out how to drink from the constant streams of water and seem now to be quite content with the fountain. They do not lack for water and seem well hydrated. The extra bonus about the fountain is that the only noise it makes is from the flowing water: there's no motor noise at all. (I'd had to get rid of an earlier product for an older cat because it made a hideous racket neither she nor I could stand.) The Drinkwell water flow is soothing, sounding almost like a woodland waterfall, conducive to afternoon naps. Unlike other reviewers here, we experience no slime, no entangling cat hair, no splashing, nothing adverse whatsoever. It's simple and easy to clean and maintain. And a much easier way to make sure the cats have fresh water every day than having to schlep heavy water bowls back and forth to the kitchen faucet every day. I use spring water, which gives them something more healthful than tap water, just topping up the bowl when it gets a little low. I give this fountain an unqualified two-thumbs-up.

I had owned a Drinkwell Original for years and loved it. Relatively easy to clean and the cats loved it and the health benefits tipped the scales. I gave it away when my remaining cat passed away two years ago. I had no idea that three kittens would soon enter my life!

I bought the Platinum fountain not long ago. When I put it in my bedroom, I could not sleep for the noise the motor makes. I could hear it two rooms away. I'm waiting on a replacement from the manufacturer now but from reading the feedback on a couple of sites, I don't hold out much hope that the problem will be corrected.

When the 360 went on sale, I snatched it up not expecting much from it.

I LOVE the 360! The cats LOVE the 360!

The water flow is adjustable. Only if you have it at maximum output (which my cats wouldn't get near), do you have any splash at all. And that is minimal. I turn down the flow to a trickle and the cats love it.

The 360 holds plenty of water for 7 days with my 3 cats. The recommendation is that any Drinkwell product be washed every week so this works out perfectly.

I would suggest this for multiple cat households. I thought the idea of having a stream of water for each cat was a bit silly, but sure enough, with the 3 spout ring, each cat goes to a specific stream of water.

The diagnosis was feline herpes (which I was told affects over 90% of all cats!) My vet prescribed this for one of my cats after an outbreak of herpes (not at all like herpes in people). She loves it and licks it right off of my finger. This has been our twice a day routine and she doesn't mind it a bit. Once we found out we'd have to give it to her for 6 months, that was quite a relief. We've tried mixing it in her wet food but she won't go near it. It takes getting used to but after the initial introduction to the gel, she loves it.

Although the gel arrived well within the expiration date (a big concern of mine before ordering), it was a bit more liquidy than the tube I had purchased from my vet's office. For the price, however, it was worth it in comparision to the mark-up at the vet's office.

Before purchasing this item, we had a cat who started yowling (and I mean YOWLING) for his morning feeding (scheduled at 5:30) two to three hours before. We're talking 3:00 AM. Now, he just sits patiently and quietly by the dish, waiting for it to turn. Our first set of batteries lasted almost two years, and there was never a malfunction. In the beginning, kitty attempted to 'break in' by picking up the dish and dragging it across the floor, but he was never successful. The dish never showed any stress of functioning from the number of 'boppings' it got.

We've had these about a week. So far, so good.

Our two kitties sleep in the laundry room; it's about the only "discipline" we've imposed on them in five years, but that's another story for another day. At any rate, we bought these not because the boys wake us up too early, begging for food, but because we wanted to try to go away for a weekend without calling the Critter Sitters (whom we love). In an effort to get the cats used to the feeders, I decided to go ahead and try them out in advance of our planned getaway.

I set the feeders for two meals a day. While I had to read the directions for setting the feed times more than once, once I understood the process, the programming was easy. I have the feeders synched to within a couple of seconds of each other, and so far the timing has been flawless.

One cat is a huge pig and totally fearless. The other is terrified of nearly everything. Typically, the piggy one gobbles his own food and then bullies his brother away from his. Interesting enough, the bigger one doesn't really like eating directly from the feeder, so he throws little pieces of his food (dry!)from the feeder to the floor and then consumes them. This has really slowed him down and given his brother a better shot at downing all his own food before it's too late. Predicatbly, the big guy isn't at all scared by the hard-to-describe (thankfully, brief) noise the feeder makes when "activating," and the little guy is kind of scared.

The feeders are big and heavy---a mixed blessing because they are hard for the cats to push around but they do take up more floor space than our old, regular bowls. The boys know there is more food stored inside the feeders but haven't tried to dismantle them yet. We'll see.

The feeders arrived quickly and had been packaged well. Although they are a tad on the large side, I can't complain. They seem to be getting the job done for what I consider a reasonable investment.

This hammock works great and is the cheapest one I found (at least $20 cheaper than the ones I found in the pet store). While it won't stop a very determined dog from reaching the front seat, or from flying forward in an accident (you will need something that goes to the car ceiling for that), it will keep your pet safe from falling into the footwell of the backseat. This also covers the leather seats in my Mercury Mariner completely without leaving any fabric exposed for chewing or scratching. I bought this for english sheepdog puppy and he now loves car rides and curls up quite comfortably without any stress from sliding around or falling. I wish I had had this product for my collie, who used to always slide and fall when going around sharp turns or quick braking.

The concept and the design are good but the material isn't. My backseat is covered with small rubber/plastic pieces that came off the fabric. The cover keeps the dog hair and the dirt away but creates its own mess. The cover is fading and torn. I wish they made it from a strong material.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my 60lb dog. I've also had another 55lb dog in the bag seat with him and it's taken the abuse from both of them jumping around and playing. I definitely didn't notice the smell that others indicated.

Pros:

Material seems very thick and durable.

Brushes clean

Strong and adjustable attachments

Quick release when you want to take this out

Incredible price (I was worried since it is so inexpensive, but this is better than the ones I've seen for 4-5x the price)

Cons:

Doesn't fit my back seat (Saturn SL2) perfectly. In other words, the hammock doesn't remain taut and it seems this is designed for slightly larger back seats. But it doesn't affect it's effectiveness at all; it's just aesthetics.

I love this seat hammock. I did some research before buying this and saw all of the different types of seat hammocks. Many were much more expensive than this and I didn't want to pay that much for it since I wasn't really sure how it would work out. Well, this seat hammock is perfect and I don't need to buy any of the more expensive ones now. It fits perfectly in the back of our 4-door sedan. The hooks around the headrests are great -- they are adjustable and stay in place. We have two dogs and they both love this. Our puppy has some problems with her joints and could never get comfortable on the seat for a ride. Now, she just leans up against one side of the hammock and slides down until she is laying on the back seat. Both dogs fit well on this hammock and they seem to really like it, especially how they no longer slide around on the seat (sideways or forward) whenever we are turning or stopping suddenly. This seat hammock is perfect for our needs. The price was great and it arrived very quickly. It only took a few minutes to install and it's easy to take out too when we need the back seat for people. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone trying to find a solution for traveling with pets!

Tried this on the recommendations of a neighbor who works as a veterinary assistant. My lab mix had recently been put on a prescription anti-inflammatory which helps; but long-term use could lead to liver damage (just like in humans). She's been on Dasuquin almost a month now and is back to chasing balls and acting frisky. (Slower than she used to be, but definitely getting around MUCH better. On her bad days before Dasuquin she had to have help getting up and in the car...). Dasuquin is safe for long-term use with no apparent side effects. I will definitely keep using this product. It may seem a little pricey if you haven't ever tried it, but I will most definitely keep using this product. The change in my dog is well worth the money to see her playing again.

My recent adoptee (his previous owner had to give him up as the owner was at death's door) who is a fatty won't even eat these (he'll eat about anything else). I have to crush them up and mix them with some yogurt and fish oil that I then mix in with his food. With this product he went from being lame (he'd limp with his back right leg) and possibly needing hip surgery and knee surgery, to only needing the knee surgery (apparently his knee caps "pop" out and if this isn't fixed he'll develop problems later). Anyways sucks, that he still needs some surgery, but he went from needing one that would require a whole month of rehabilitation to one where he'll be back home the next day (the rescue agency is paying all of his costs).

My older dog (an akita) went from being in so much pain that it was hard to get her to eat (she was losing weight) to her old self. Both her and the new guy are constantly wrestling around the house and chasing each other around the yard.

I also have my dogs on Phycox JS, so I don't know if the effects I've noticed are solely due to the Dasoquin or not.

We are on our 2nd set of 2 Golden Retrievers and have used the large black kongs for years. I estimate we have gone through 8-10 Kongs over 20+ years. If a Kong wore out, it was usually from biting for the cookie inserts at the larger end hole.

But I just noticed that our 2 most recent Kongs have split at the seam between the largest ring and the middle ring. I estimate that I have had these Kongs for 1- and 2-years.

Since I have never seen this split and it seems like very premature wear compared to all of our other Kongs I emailed the company for a replacement. I got " Sorry- we only have a 30 day guarantee". Thanks Alot!

My 9 pound Maltese has been on this tylan powder for most of her life. She is 10 1/2 yrs old. It is a miracle drug. She started geting tear staining and beard staining at about 6 months old My Vet recommended the Tylan powder ( I was paying $90. from my vet for quite a while, a bargain even at that price). I give her 1/8 tsp every morning in a small amout of moist dog food. Occasionally, I did miss some days, but recently I missed quite a few days and noticed the staining coming back, so now I am back to giving it to her on a regular basis. I recommend this product to anyone whose dog is having a staining problem, but I also feel that you should consult your vet before using this product.

A pound of training treats at this price is a good deal. I liked everything about the treats except the size. They are just too tiny for my Great Dane and he would drop them 1/2 the time when trying to chew. Yes, he is a chewer even on something this tiny - wants to at least get a tooth into it. So I ended up giving him 2-3 at a time scrunched together as one. He loves the flavor, the smell is strong enough to entice without being offensive. They arent messy on your hands or in your pockets. I'll admit, I am reviewing a product I have not used. The reason is that wheat gluten is about the #1 cause of allergies in dogs. When wheat gluten is broken down it gets very sticky, so it coats the cilia of the digestive tract. This can cause irritation, and cause the immune system to actually destroy the lining of the intestines. This means that your pup might not be able to absorb all the nutrients he is eating.

Often allergies show up as 'hot spots' where the dog gets itchy and possibly scratches fur off. The problem with food allergies is it's possible that they won't be obvious because all the damage will be internal.

So, I have not seen a problem with this product, but I have known dogs who have had terrible reactions to wheat. It's the same things as "gluten intolerance"in humans, but it's much more common in dogs who are not quite as good at digesting grains. Wheat flour can be bad enough, but including concentrated wheat protein is much worse - because that is what causes the allergies.

I have been using Greenies for years, including the older formula that reportedly had digestion problems. However, we never have had any problems with Greenies. Just make sure you get the appropriate size for your dog. I have never seen a dog that could resist a Greenie. They will start doing tricks never seen before once you bring them into the house. They do help with their breath, teeth cleaning and training and we normally use them as "well earned" treats (they aren't the cheapest thing in the treat world). I just ordered 4, 27 oz. tubs of the Teenies (we have Papillons) and I know our dogs will enjoy every one of them. Never have to worry about our dogs getting fat eating these as we do not give them multiple times a day. The new formula reportedly has solved the digestibility problem and the manufacturer claims is now more digestible than normal dog food. In the original formula, the problem usually involved incidents when dogs just tried to swallow them whole or get it down in 2 bites. Our dogs always chewed them into small pieces avoiding any problems. Believe me, your dogs will love them.

The pads are made to be used with the Breeze litter box system and are placed underneath a "grate" that the Breeze litter sits atop. When the cat urinates, rather than the litter soaking up all the wetness, it falls below the grates onto this diaper-like pad. The pad is contained within a plastic box-like piece that is a drawer within the litter box and has sides that surround it.

The pad not only absorbs the odors very well, it appears to contain somekind of gel-like material that that only expands when wet so that it holds the urine inside. Then, when it's time to change the pad, you just grab a small grocery bag, head to the litter box, fold up the pad, and toss it inside...and throw away. No lugging a litter box around to change out the litter. As long as you change it once per week, even with two cats, it shouldn't be soaked if you turn the tray once as per the instructions and you can lift it up via the dry edges and the whole back is dry so you don't actually touch anything with urine on it.

The beauty is that it allows you to go for days without being a slave to the litter box and you never have to dump clumps of litter again. The litter used with this doesn't soak up the urine (only the pads do) so there is no more litter tracking sticking to cat's paws, and clay litter is very bad for cats because, if it gets on their paws and they lick it, it can remain in their systems according to my vet, causing health problems sometimes. So this new litter system keeps the litter in the tray, not their tummies and paws, and that also means I dont get litter stuck to my own feet that has tracked all over the house.

So now all you have to do is throw away this pad once a week and scoop out the #2s only as needed.

Genius.

It will get out the stain, but not the odor, nor do I know of anything that actually will except rip up the pad and replace the carpet. It does leave a residue which I've had to have a professional remove so all-in-all, I recommend the Hoover products over this one. I love Bissell's vacuums but this stuff, well, save your money!

I have a little dog that refuses to stop peeing in the house, no matter what I try. I use this with the Bissell Stain Lifter, and it works great! I have a very loud, and I mean LOUD weimaraner that loves to bark at me for everything, mostly attention. The barking in the car was the worst! I thought he was going to bust my eardrums in the car. I had previously had a citrinella bark collar in the past that worked for a while, but then he found out this doesnt do anything but make it smell like oranges and he would bark right through it. I have found that this collar did shock him on the training level and he squealed once after getting shocked, but then soon realized it was the barking that made it shock him and he stopped. He was trained in a matter of 5 mins! This was a purchase I should have made years ago! I keep it off of him most of the time now, unless company is coming over. And if he gets excited and starts his obsessivly annoying barking, all I have to say is that I am getting the bark collar and he stops. It, by far, is the best purchase I've made for my dog! My wife and I are expecting our first baby very soon and we had some major concerns about the frequency of our American Bulldog barking (we also have a smaller dog that we are looking into a smaller collar for). I have used the littermaid, Litter Robot, and now the Cat Genie.

After having this for over a year I have this to offer:

The early models, had some problems. I called on three problems I have had, each time, the engineers had a modification which was sent to me for no cost. Each modification did indeed resolve the problem I was having.

I have two long haired persian cats, and one cat genie.

One of my cat's is old, and her digestivie system has some pretty rough problems. (I won't go into details) The Cat Genie handles it no problem. You are supposed to completely dissamble and clean the system about once a month. I usually only do it about every 2nd or third month. The only shortcoming the model 60 has is you have to either start it manually, or schedule it to run on a timer. The new model that came out in August 2009, (the 120) finally has a sensor to allow it to run after each use. This really isn't needed due to how the system handles liquids, but it's nice for when you are gone for an extended time. The tech support is very knowledgeable and responsive. When I called for the three problems I had, I was pretty stressed, and they talked me through my problems, and always got the product working quickly.

The amount of engineering that has gone into this device is quite amazing.

My little Milo absolutely LOVES these treats!

He's a small dog (14 pounds), but normally I give him a whole treat. Are they bigger than normal treats? Yes, but he doesn't seem to get more.

When I first got him, I was giving him Milkbones, which he loved. When I first gave him one of these, at first he didn't know what to do with it, but that quickly changed.

He now licks the treat like Popsicles before actually eating it. I'm assuming that means he likes them more.

I bought these very cheaply through a lightning deal because I am always looking for tasty treats to spoil my puppies with. The package comes with 6 boxes and this is a lot of treats! Some treats are bigger, others smaller; I usually try to break the bigger ones in half, otherwise the dogs continue to eat the treat way after they earned it. These are some of the few dog treats I have found that actually smell and taste good for humans as well, that usually means they are pretty healthy in my opinion. The variety is great, allows the dogs a surprise treat every time. Definitely a good buy, gave away a box to a friend and their dog loved it as well. I understand the need to have bigger treats but I would have preferred some more smaller ones because these cookies are hard to break.

First I purchased a top-of-stairs gate that was to attach to my woodwork without damage. I found that the gate hinge was too tall to install under our banister AND it required that I put holes in our wood - so I bought this kit (and a shorter gate). The kit is just right! There are no holes in our woodwork, I could trim it to fit under the banister, and I installed it myself quite easily. The kit also made a secure connection, so there is no wobbling. I immediately bought another kit to install the first (too tall) gate on our back stairs without damaging our wood (and threw away the pieces that came with the gate). And, by the way, installing the gates is a lot harder than this kit! I definitely recommend this product.

Purchased this stairway gate installation kit after looking at a number of different systems to attach to banister posts on both sides of my stairs. I did not have an even surface to screw into on either side and was less than enthusiastic about creating holes in the posts. This solution seemed to be the most elegant of all that I looked at. Although a bit pricey, I am extremely happy with the product. Installation was easy despite relatively weak directions. Spacers were included in the kit that allow getting the vertical wood strip exactly perpendicular, just took a couple of minutes to figure out they snap to the wood strip not the plastic. Once you have the square, wood sides to attach a gate to, I believe any baby gate would work well. Overall, I'm very happy with the product. I could hang on this gate and not move it an inch.
